SISC is a voluntary non-profit organisation representing and serving majority of Indians in and around Stafford from 2009. However, there are no limit of expanding our network and its for all Indians who are all part of this beautiful country.
Where are we from:
We are from all over the Indian diaspora.
Objectives:
1) Promote good citizenship in a multi-racial, multi-cultural and multi-faith community by having good relationship with each other.
2) Advancing education concerning Indian culture and history either independently or jointly with other such organisations
3) Relieving such persons, primarily those of Indian origin in condition of need, hardship or distress by provision of advice and information service.
4) Association with local authorities and voluntary organisation in the common interest of social welfare and recreation.
Our Activities
1) To promote overall fitness and well-being both mentally and physically by active participation in sports.
2) Imparting knowledge on financial, educational and economical aspects by organizing specialist lecture on such topics.
3) Organise cultural programs such as dance, music and language courses to maintain touch with our origins and roots.
4) Cater for other recreational needs of members e.g.: BBQ, picnics, day-outs etc
5) Give something back to the local community in terms of volunteering some time at local hospice or such organisation.
